The Language School of the Campus-Notre-Dame-de-Foy specializes in language camps for adolescents for over 10 years.

In detail

Objectives

  • Language training in a French-speaking environment
  • Awareness of French-speaking culture in America and of intercultural differences

Weekly Program

  • 15 hours of French classes (basic level to advanced level)
  • Cultural activities and sports on campus
  • Excursions outside of Quebec City: Montreal La Ronde (Amusement Park), Water Park Village Vacances Valcartier, Montmorency Falls, Sainte-Anne Basilica and Canyon Sainte-Anne, Aquarium
  • Access to the fitness room and swimming pool

Lodging and Meals

  • Student Residence, single room
  • 3 meals per day at thecafeteria

Residences

  • Each student lives in a private room which has a small sink, a mirror, a desk, a closet with drawers and wireless Internet access. On each floor (separate floors boys/girls), there are washrooms and showers. Students’ safety is guaranteed during the night by a security guard on duty.
  • Also, the college has everything a student could ask for: coin-op Laundromat, TV. room with free loan of DVD and electronic games, indoor pool, gymnasium, physical fitness room and ATM.

Summer 2017 Dates

  • Session 1: arrival on Sunday June 25 and departure on Saturday July 15, 2017 (3 weeks)
  • Session 2: arrival on Sunday July 23 and departure on Saturday August 12, 2017 (3 weeks)
  • Two linguistic stays are available. Please contact us for more information.

Cost

  • $2,360 Can/stay
  • Deposit of $300 (non-refundable) due at time of registration.
  • Final payment $2,060 June 1st (session 1) or July 1st (session 2)
  • Includes: French courses, room and board, activities, cultural outings and excursions, access to the fitness room, swimming pool and Internet.
  • Does not include: International Health Care Insurance (mandatory for foreign students), air travel and personal expenses.

How to register?

  1. The parent or legal guardian must register his / her child online at www.cndf.qc.ca/sportnet
  2. Once your child is registered, you must:
    1. Login again with your username and password at www.cndf.qc.ca/sportnet then select Forms
    2. Fill out the Medical FormParental authorizations and Information form on your arrival and departure
    3. Your child (the participant) will do the French placement test
    4. Send by email at langues@cndf.qc.ca or by mail a small recent photo of your child (include full name and specify session 1 or 2).

Every student will receive by email by early June the final details.

International students (Non-Canadian students) will receive by email a letter of admission.
