What are the dates of the stays?
There are two sessions.
- Session 1: arrival on Saturday June 27 and departure on Friday July 17, 2020 (3 weeks)
- Session 2: arrival on Wednesday July 22 and departure on Tuesday August 11, 2020 (3 weeks)
- Two linguistic stays are available. Please contact us for more information.
What is the cost of the linguistic program?
The cost for the three week program is only $2,475 Can/stay.
What is included : the French courses, the room and board, the activities, cultural outings and excursions, the access to the fitness room, swimming pool and internet. Shuttle from and to CNDF, Quebec City airport (YQB), Sainte-Foy bus station or train station.
What is not included : the International Health Care Insurance (mandatory for foreign students), the air travel and the personal expenses.

What are the CNDF language programs?
The language program emphasizes speaking of your target language and knowledge of French Canadian culture, development of self-reliance, awareness of cultural differences in a context of intensive and enriching learning. The best way to learn a language is to live it everyday!

The program is held at Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy (CNDF), an exceptional natural site, located only 20 kilometres from downtown Quebec City.

What will we do during the program?
French classes
Participants attend 3 hours of French classes, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to noon. Levels vary from beginner to advanced. Each group will have a maximum of 18 students of the same level.
Activities
The afternoons of the week are devoted to cultural activities: cultural visits in Old Quebec, talent show, arts, theater, improvisation, cooking, photo album, music, leadership, yoga and great games.
In the evening, teenagers will go bowling, dine in Old Quebec and shop at the mall, always under the supervision of the animators. During the free time, participants stay on campus and a choice of activities is offered: swimming, fitness room, sports, arts, video evening.
Excursions
The weekends are dedicated to excursions outside of Quebec Cit : Montreal La Ronde (Amusement Park), Water Park Village Vacances Valcartier, Montmorency Falls, Sainte-Anne Basilica and Canyon Sainte-Anne, Aquarium
All these activities are supervised by animators. The student/monitor ratio is 15/1.

The parent or legal guardian must register his / her child online at www.cndf.qc.ca/sportnet/en
2) Once your child is registered, you must:
- Send by email at langues@cndf.qc.ca a small recent photo of your child (include full name and specify session 1 or 2
- Return to the registration portal at cndf.qc.ca/sportnet/en
- Login with your username and password
- Select Forms
- The parent or legal guardian must fill those two forms:
-Medical and parental authorizations form;
-Information on arrival and departure; - The participant (student) must write the French placement test.
